Rahul Yadav hasn’t been in London for long.

And it shows. He and his wife had just gotten lost in the city’s south end when we met them on Route 13.

Yadav, 23, came to London from the Bhiwani area in India. He’s studying Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Fanshawe College with hopes of starting his own business when he gets back to India.

When we spoke with him, he was on his way to Masonville Place mall. It was his wife’s birthday and he was planning to make dinner for her that night.

He says traffic is much better in London than it is in India, but it’s been a struggle to get around without a car.

“Canada is very spread out,” he said.
